2022 marks the 3rd year skateboarders will celebrate Skate Shop Day all over the world. It is a celebration of all independent skater owned & operated retailers whose main business focuses on physical store locations and a deep rooted commitment to skateboarding.

DLXSF x Todd Francis for Skate Shop Day Collection Debut
Along with 240 skateshops all over the world, will be releasing our custom DLXSF collaboration deck designed by legendary skate artist, Todd Francis. We have been fans of Todd's artwork from his work for Stereo & Real Skateboards in the 90's and everything he does for Anti-Hero. He designed their Eagle logo. The man is a legend.
Herbie the Black Handed Wizard of the Southside
If you hung out at our original location from 2002-2008 then remember the flatground sessions in the alley across the street and the vagrants who sat on the benches drinking malt liquor.
One of these fine gentlemen was named Herbie and he would always ask skaters for money & get loud if we didn’t hook him up. He was harmless really but I wonder how Todd knew what he looked like?

City Without Spots Trivia at HB ( 6 pm )
This month, we are also celebrating the 20th Anniversary of the premiere for Hometeam610: City Without Spots, the first local skate video made of the Lehigh Valley skate scene.
On February 15th, 400+ people came out to the Icehouse Theatre in Bethlehem to watch the video Andrew Po's put together over 1999-2002 documenting sessions at street spots in Allentown, Easton & Bethlehem with all the skaters who he would encounter.
“This night would be the catalyst for Homebase Skateshop to eventually open later that same year.”
