This year we wanted to add a little "community" to all the consumerism...
In the spirit of creating community, we'll be hosting FREE events all weekend long in partnership with our community. We hope to see you outside at an event if you don't plan on shopping. We have always taken pride in being a communal space, not only for skateboarders, but also local artists, musicians, creatives & everyone in-between. It felt silly to not host our people here on the busiest sales weekend of the year so everyone could shine together.

Black Friday:
Kicking off the weekend, we'll be opening at 10am (that's early for us) on Black Friday. Deals, gifts with purchase, doorbusters and yada yada yada will be happen (scroll down for full details) but the best news about Black Friday is will be turning the shop over at 6pm to some of our favorite local bands in the area, Toxiq Chameleon & Lunar Pools.
But keep your ears to the ground, because we'll be announcing more special guests as the week goes on and rumor is there might be a Game of SKATE for prizes too. . .
Small Business Saturday:
We are most excited to celebrate Small Business Saturday. Yes, there will be deals, gifts with purchase and a FCFS Nike SB Dunk drop (you can scroll down for those details). What's MOST important is we are collaborating with Lehigh Valley Artists Meetup and our neighbors at Deja Brew Coffeehouse & Railroad Records to host many more local small businesses.
Inside Homebase we will host artists like Danny Finocchio, Emotional IQ and more. Outside on Vine St, vintage vendors like our friend Curated by the Greek, Pick n Recycle, ABE, Braccio Goods, Carty's Closet and more will be set up outside or inside Deja Brew with BRVintage. Outside of Railroad Records will be more vendors for anyone interested in music related vintage too.
This means when you come to the Southside on Saturday, you can support more than just Homebase.
Push Ahead Sunday:
To close out the big weekend on Sunday, yes, we will still have discounts and gifts with purchase (scroll down for those details) but WE ARE REALLY EXCITED to host A FREE PUSH AHEAD program for the kids.
Kids will be introduced to the core concepts of skateboarding through physics demonstrations. Children will learn how simple physics principles make skating possible, and participate in safe, instructor guided activities. Plus, you don’t need to bring anything- we've got you covered.
If you want to come by on Sunday for one of our free Push Ahead classes, REGISTER HERE. Classes are free on a first come, first served basis.

Printed locally by The LVAC, it features 30+ logos from our two decades the community in Southside Bethlehem. Some designs have never been printed except for on this special Black Friday release.

Of course, Black Friday wouldn't be Black Friday without some exclusive releases. This year we're proud to partner up with local artist and skater Ricky Stokes to give you a fresh look on the Stokes Collection- hand drawn by Ricky himself and printed locally by our friends at the LVAC. Available in Kelly Green in sizes S-3XL.
And, a restock of a shop favorite: The Steel Stacked Collection. Designed by local artist and longtime shop supporter Danny Finocchio- who will also be featured during our artist market on Small Business Saturday. The Steel Stacked Collection will be available in a sleek Oxford Gray also in sizes S-3XL.
