Push Ahead at the Twilight Criterium

To celebrate our 22nd Anniversary, we were grateful to play a part in the 2024 Easton Twilight Criterium Cycling Race by hosting Push Ahead Skateboarding programs for the community and a Longest Ollie Contest for $525 cash money.

You can learn more about Push Ahead here:

Push Ahead is an after school program that we created over 10 years ago that works with local elementary schools to teach kids social-emotional skills like resilience and empathy through the lens of skateboarding.

With the help of a team of volunteers, we were able to host Push Ahead lessons all day long while amateur and professional cyclists rode by through the streets of Downtown Easton.  Each program was filled with kids of all ages- some stepping on a board for the very first time that day.  It was awesome to be a part of an event like the Twilight Crit surrounded by people who see the value of “playing” with toys on wheels.

THANK YOU to everyone who volunteered to help teach the next generation.

If you or anyone you know are interested in volunteering, donating or hosting a Push Ahead program please email us at: pushaheadlv@gmail.com

Before the professional races officially began, we were given the green light to take over the closed course to host a “Long Ollie Contest” sponsored by 12th & Market and Balloons.

Thanks to some generous donors in the crowd, we were able to split a total of $525 in prize money between Izzy, Gabe & Mikey.  We had a three-way tie because we had to clear the course for the cyclists.  That’s what the people really came to see

We couldn't have thought of a better way to spend our 22nd birthday. Thank you to everybody at Longtail Productions for having us. Hopefully we'll see you again next year!
