Everyone's Safe at Homebase. A sentence that has been true since 2002 and will remain true as long as our doors are open. Over the past 23 years, we've learned as a shop that our community has grown into so much more than just skateboarding.
Homebase at its core will always be a skate shop, but the people who make Homebase what it truly is likely started out on a skateboard but have become amazing artists, musicians, runners, cyclists, bakers and everything in-between.

That's why this year for Skate Shop Day, we need the whole weekend to celebrate! You can check out the full Skate Shop Day Weekend details below.

Friday February 20th:
Join us to kick off Skate Shop Day Weekend next Friday with the opening of the Home Team Art Show. Showcasing the timeline of over two decades of history and telling the story of how Home Team evolved into Homebase Skateshop and how it's grown from 1999 'til now. The Home Team Art Show opens on Friday February 20th and will be up for you to see all weekend long until we close at 8pm on Sunday.
Following the Art Show opening, we're teaming up with Tape Swap Radio to host a live session recording featuring the Lehigh Valley's own: Wipes, Headzo & more TBA. Music starts at 7:30pm!

Saturday February 21st:
Celebrate Skate Shop Day 2026 at Homebase! To start off the day, we'll be opening up early at 10am. We'll have free coffee & donuts for everyone until it's gone! We'll be hanging out at the shop all afternoon and we'll be hosting the semifinals and finals for our $100 Stationary Game of S.K.A.T.E. We'll then be closing up the shop early and hosting Don't Tell Comedy for two shows on Saturday night- at 7:00pm and 9:00pm. Tickets to the shows are $27 and tickets are still available here: Don't Tell Comedy at HB Tickets
On Saturday we'll also be releasing all of our Skate Shop Day Exclusives including:

The Safe at Homebase Collection - Designed by Sean Delmore:

This year we tapped our homie and artist Sean Delmore to bring our vision to life for Skate Shop Day 2026. If you're not familiar with Sean, he is a graphic designer, Valley native and a graduate of the LVAC who has designed for some of your favorite Shops & Brands like Nocturnal, Bronze, Alltimers, and Tenant just to name a few.
When we initially approached Sean, we asked him to draw something more representative of Homebase in 2026. What once started off as just a Skateshop has truly turned into a hub in our community. Homebase not only represents skateboarding but it also represents everyone in the community as a whole. The "Safe at Homebase" collection represents those who support Homebase, whether they skateboard or not. With everything going on in the world, we wanted to let everyone know that they are truly always Safe at Homebase.
The "Safe at Homebase" Collection will be available in -store in Ash Grey Hoodies & T-Shirts in sizes SM-3XL starting on Saturday February 21st. Any leftovers will be available online after the weekend.

If you've made it this far, I salute you. I know that was a lot, but if you're a nerd like me then you like to check out all of the details. There's so much I can say here. But if I want to say anything, it's that it has been an honor and a privilege to not only be raised by this shop but also now to have become one of the people that help run it. When I tell you Homebase has become a hub in the community, I can say that because I've seen it with my own eyes since I was a child.
Skate Shop Day has always been one of my favorite days of the year since I started at Homebase, and 2026 will be no exception. We've extended everything over the weekend because we hope all of you can come out one of (or all of) the days to celebrate with us. Because without you, there truly is no us.
Much love, and I hope to see you soon.
